Every drama group has experienced the horrors of what can go wrong on the night and the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild are no different. The possible exception is that almost everything that could go wrong does when the ladies stage their ambitious production of a cunning whodunit, Murder at Checkmate Manor. And just in case the audience were bored, there was a film and a fashion show - and, of course, the Murder Mystery Quiz - complete with prize!
